I recently had PRK laser eye surgery with Optilase, and I honestly couldn’t be happier with the entire process. From my first consultation right through to my follow-up appointments, every member of the team was friendly, reassuring, and incredibly professional. They explained everything clearly, answered all my questions, and made me feel completely at ease. The procedure itself was quick and far less intimidating than I expected. The aftercare was excellent—Optilase checked in regularly and guided me through each stage of the recovery. Now that my vision has fully stabilised, the results are unbelievable. Waking up every day with clear, sharp vision feels like a miracle. If you’re considering PRK or any laser eye surgery, I can’t recommend Optilase highly enough. I had LASIK eye surgery, and the whole experience was fantastic. Everything was quick, efficient, and incredibly professional. Fred handled my pre-op consultation and was excellent—clear, reassuring, and very knowledgeable. Dr. Damani made the surgery itself feel easy and stress-free, and Lee, who assisted during the procedure, was so kind and supportive throughout. I also want to mention Aoife, the store manager, who was wonderfully helpful and professional from start to finish. I’m delighted with the results and honestly wish I’d gotten it done sooner. I had monofocal IOLs surgery. Due to having Cataracts. Plus being sort sighted. This is the best decision ive made! I just wish id a done it years ago. From going to Optilase, for pre op then post op. I couldn't recommemd them enough. Ive had 1st class care! all explained to me. Even notes given to send to my Ophthalmologist and Doctor. Id phone calls from Maryaym to see how i got on my side. The care ive received is 1st class! Am only a month done the line still being reviewed all is as expected to be. Thank you to the Surgeon/Eliizabeth in Londonderry/ Maryaym in Dublin/ The Staff who made me feel at ease in comfortable during my visits then Surgery. Had my lasik surgery with Dr Damani in Belfast. He was absolutely amazing, the surgery was easier than I could have imagined and he talked me through every step of the procedure as it was happening as did the amazing team of nurses who were in the room also. The surgery was so quick - I was in and out in 15 minutes. No pain at all. The pre op consult had with Freddy before the surgery was fantastic. He is so knowledgeable and totally eased all my nerves about the surgery. So glad I chose this team to take care of me - couldn’t recommend them enough!
